We asked several questions of our customers to learn how we can make our products and services even better for your business. Thank you for your feedback. We learned that many customers are unaware of the features that are already included in their subscription. We also discovered many don’t know that we have products and services that meet your requests. Let’s make sure you don’t miss out on these great features and products.
1) You asked for videos WITH and WITHOUT sound.
We already have both, but you may not have noticed because you currently subscribe to only one of our products, like our Digital Menu Board (for service counters or desks) or Lobby TV (for waiting rooms). The Menu Board is designed to play with NO sound, so it does not interrupt your phone calls or in-person conversations with customers at or near the counter. The Lobby TV is designed to play WITH sound, as a replacement for Cable TV, to better engage waiting customers and reduce their perceived wait times.
Even though each program, by default, only includes automatic updates of videos with or without sound, based on the program type, you CAN add any videos from the AutoNetTV library into your program, at any time. You can have these videos play for a week, the entire month, a custom date range, or forever. Every subscription to AutoNetTV includes unlimited access to our entire library of videos for use in your product. Online in your account, you can sort for videos by Sound or No Sound. Or, you can just call our Customer Success team at (801) 492-9900 and we’d love to login to your account, find what you’re looking for and add it to your program for you.

2) You asked for entertaining videos to help customers pass the time.
AutoNetTV’s Lobby TV program is designed specifically for your customers who sit and wait for their service to be performed. As opposed to Cable TV, AutoNetTV’s Lobby TV program has: no competitor commercials, no offensive content, no depressing news, and no political arguments. Instead, you get family-friendly entertainment that has something for every customer age and demographic, with several hours of content that changes every two weeks. Plus, you get AutoNetTV’s car care videos to reinforce your service offerings and professionalism, and you can customize the program with your branding, messaging, promos, etc.
If you currently subscribe to AutoNetTV’s Digital Menu Board program, you can still manually find and add these entertaining videos into that product as well. The default settings prevent entertainment videos from being automatically added to the program, since that’s not the design and intent of the product. But if you want to add them, you’re free to do so with your current subscription.
3) You asked for the ability to add videos to your email marketing, text messaging, digital inspections, websites, and social media accounts.

In addition to the Car Care Plugin, AutoNetTV also has an automated blog tool, Car Care Web, that can be used as a stand-alone blog, or as a plugin to feed weekly articles and videos into your existing blog on your current website. Professional, searchable, and completely customizable articles, with associated service videos, are automatically added to this blog tool every week. You can also create your own articles through our easy-to-use article creator, and then link a video from AutoNetTV’s library to a new article you write. You can also share any article with its car care video to your social media channels.
4) You asked for the ability to add commercials or promos in your program that are specific to your business.
This feature already exists, depending on the level of subscription product you have (which may vary depending on the partner through which you’ve obtained your subscription). Our regular Lobby TV and Digital Menu Board products allow you to login online and upload as much content as you wish. Videos, images, animations, etc., can all be added to your personal account and then displayed in your program. 5) You listed many service topics that you want added to the library.
Almost every service topic requested by customers is already included in our library and is available to you right now. However, you may not have seen every topic because of the way services are automatically rotated each month. For example, if you subscribe to our Digital Menu Board (for service counters or desks) or Lobby TV (for waiting rooms) products, the program automatically updates the maintenance and repair videos that display each month. But, at any time, you can search and insert any additional service videos into your program.
AutoNetTV’s library has thousands of videos covering virtually every maintenance and repair topic you can imagine. Here’s a partial list of the service topics you can add to your program. Note that most of these topics have many videos discussing the service, including with and without sound, and in various styles.
